# Sauerkraut Meatballs
## Sauce Ingredients
- [ ] 1 bottle chili sauce
- [ ] 1 bottle of water (use the empty chili sauce bottle)
- [ ] 1/2 cup brown sugar
- [ ] 1 can cranberry sauce
- [ ] 1 can sauerkraut
## Meatball Ingredients
- [ ] 2 lb. ground beef
- [ ] 1 package dry onion soup mix
- [ ] 1 cup breadcrumbs
- [ ] 3 beaten eggs
## Steps
1. In a saucepan, mix together chili sauce, water, brown sugar, cranberry sauce, and sauerkraut. Simmer on the stove while preparing meatballs.
2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, dry onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, and beaten eggs.
3. Form mixture into meatballs.
4. Place meatballs directly in a baking dish or brown them on a cookie sheet/baking stone before transferring to the baking dish.
5. Pour sauce over the meatballs.
6. Bake at 350°F for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
